Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO) to Break World-Record





India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (IPSLV) - PSLV-C37 will carry a record  in a single mission on Feb 15. It will be launched into a 505 km polar Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO). 714kg Cartosat-2 series satellite for earth observation along with 103 co-passenger satellites, together weighing about 664kg at lift-off. ISRO said: scheduled to be launched on February 15, 2017 at 9.28 hours IST from SDSC SHAR Sriharikota. With the co-passenger of satellites will be in India, US, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Switzerland and UAE.

A year ago, Isro has propelled a record 20 satellites at one go. The highest number of satellites launched in a single mission is 37, a record that Russia set in 2014. The 29 satellites launched by NASA on November 19, 2013
